Credits and Usage
FrameKit uses a credit system to meter usage. Credits are consumed each time you render your product or use AI generation features.
How credits are consumed
Credits are consumed by taking specific actions within the app. These actions are primarily based around AI generation and rendering, and anywhere you could incur costs it will be clearly labelled. The number of credits consumed depends on:
- AI Tools — Using AI tools to generate/edit images or automatically add lighting to an image
- Product Rendering — Positioning and rendering your product
- Automatic Generation — Using FrameKit’s automated workflows to generate images from start to finish
For a full list of actions that could incur credit costs, please see Action Costs
Checking your balance
Your current credit balance is displayed in the Billing section of the app. You can also view a full breakdown of your usage history on this screen.
Purchasing credits
Credits can be purchased as a one-off top-up in addition to those you get as part of your monthly plan. You can purchase credits in the Billing section of the app.
Credits when part of a team
If you have multiple users on your account, credits are shared across all team members. The company admin can see which team members have consumed credits and how much in the usage breakdown.
What happens when credits run out
If you attempt to start a render with insufficient credits, the actions will not proceed and you’ll be prompted to add more credits.
